1968 Age 7, parents take me to first concert, John Mayall's Blues Breakers 1969 Got my first LP, Johnny Cash and stole my brothers harmonica. 1970 Got my first Rolling Stones LP. 1971 Got my first guitar. 1973 Mother takes me to Stones concert 1974 Got first electric guitar. 1975 - 78 Jamming at my folk's house with friends. 1979 - 1987 Began teaching music from home. 1988 Met Mick Jagger! 1989 - 1993 Worked in guitar shops, taught, played gigs and did lots of session recording for TV, radio and artists from the well known to the unknown. 1994 Saw the Stones again 1995 - 1997 Travelled through America & Europe and played alot of harp with many bands I met. 1999 - 2002 played lots of fantastic gigs around the state with The YA-YA's. (click here if you wanna hear), teaching at the House of Harmonica, making this website, producing and launching the Blues Harp #1 CD and running courses at WEA adult education. 2003 Saw the Stones again (twice!) in Sydney, brought U.K. harp player Brendan Power to Adelaide (and played with him) 2004 Building a new studio at the House of Harmonica, producing new teaching CDs for guitar & harmonica, running more blues harp courses here and at W.E.A., putting a new band together and playing as much as possible.
